Nestling on the banks of River Nethy, Ptarmigan Lodge enjoys a superb location in Nethy Bridge - the 'Forest Village'. The lodge has been designed in the style of a North American ski lodge and enjoys relaxing views across the river to the ancient Abernethy Forests.
The nearby Cairngorms are home to the elusive Ptarmigan (pronounced "Tarmigan"), a rare mountain dwelling bird, after which the lodge is named.
Ptarmigan Lodge is all on one level and accommodates up to 10 guests in spacious luxury in the 4 bedrooms.
The new outdoor Hot Tub allows you to relax and soak in the peace and quiet of the forest and listen to the river, so whatever the weather, day or night, you and your party can luxuriate in the warm water and perhaps sip a glass of Champagne with that special person under a starry sky. Undoubtedly the Hot Tub is a tremendous experience. Just settle in, soak up the warmth, and relax as aches and stress disappear. This brings enjoyment at any time of the day. Start with a morning “eye opener”. Enjoy a post-workout refresher. Re-connect with loved ones after a busy day. Or relax and unwind just before going to sleep.
The enclosed private garden and decked area, is ideal for Al Fresco dining, BBQ's,, a kids play area or just socialising and enjoying an evening "Sundowner" after a busy day of activities in the area.
