The cottage was built in 1905 and has been modernised to include a spacious open plan kitchen and dining room. It is a cosy and comfortable cottage situated by the railway line. This has a charming effect; the infrequent rumble of the trains providing much entertainment.
The recently refurbished kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with stainless steel pans and utensils, a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and an ample array of pots,pans,cutlery,crockery,glasses and kitchen utensils. There are three bedrooms. Upstairs the main bedroom has a king size bed and has a private television and the second smaller double bedroom has fitted wardrobes. Downstairs the third compact bedroom is a twin with bunkbeds. Bed linen is provided. The Living room has a TV and DVD. WiFi internet access is also available, bring your own laptop.
The downstairs bathroom has a bath and electric shower. There is a separate WC. The cottage is heated by a combination of off peak electrical storage heaters and convection heaters, which together with a blazing fire, provides a welcome refuge should the weather turn cold.
