Centrally located cosy budget accommodation
Rats Magic Cottage was built in 1905 and has been modernised to include a spacious open plan kitchen and dining area. It is a cosy and comfortable cottage situated by the railway line. This has a charming effect; the infrequent rumble of the trains providing much entertainment.
Rats Magics' recently refurbished kitchen is well equipped with stainless steel pans and utensils, a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and an ample array of pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, glasses and kitchen utensils.
There are three bedrooms. Upstairs the main bedroom has a king size bed and television, with views of the Cairngorm Mountains, the second small double bedroom has fitted wardrobes. Downstairs the third compact bunkroom is fitted with bunkbeds. Bed linen and towels is provided for 6 guests.
The Living room has a TV and DVD player. WiFi internet access is also available, please bring your own laptop. There is comfortable seating round the open fireplace.
The only bathroom, which is situated downstairs, has a bath and electric shower. There is a separate WC also on the ground floor. The cottage is heated by a combination of off- peak electrical storage heaters and convection heaters, and of course the open fire.
