An idyllic loch side cottage with stunning views to the Cairgorms

Rowan Cottage is a large and luxurious traditional stone cottage set in its own private and secluded grounds on the edge of a beautiful lochan a couple of miles North of Aviemore.

Rowan Cottage is ideally situated in the small settlement of Avielochan, one of only six cottages dotted around a small lochan popular with birdwatchers.

Driving through the gate of Rowan Cottage, you will immediately be taken by the fabulous views across the loch to the Cairngorm mountains. The seasonal changes in ambient light and weather yield an infinite palette of breathtaking backdrops.

Accommodation comprises of 4 bedrooms (2 en-suite), sleeping up to 10 guests, there is a lounge, family bathroom and extra shower room, period feature dining room, conservatory and utility room.

The cottage is equipped with an 8 Person Outdoor Hot Tub that can rejuvenate those tired bodies after some serious walking, skiing, birdwatching or simply indulging the less strenuous while enjoying those mountain views.
