A Cosy, Compact Lodge Set Amidst the Pines
Here is a lodge that's in tune with its surroundings ... Ideal to enjoy the Highlands, whether you're relaxing or being active, you'll find it adapts to your wishes.
Wolf Lodge is situated in a quiet hamlet of 5 private dwellings, in a woodland setting just outside the small Highland Village of Carrbridge, close to the River Dulnain and the riverside walk to the village centre (approx 20 minutes.) Wolf Lodge sleeps 4, and can accommodate occasional overnight guests on the pull-down double lounge bed. Although compact in design, the towering pine clad cathedral ceiling echos the tall trees outside to give a natural feeling of tranquility.
The airy and comfortably furnished living/dining area with its inglenook around the crackling log stove (logs provided)creates a cosy ambience. The full SKY TV package is provided in the lounge, along with Free Wi-Fi Internet connection.
There are two bedrooms, one open plan gallery style with a double bed which has a DVD player and screen, now fitted with Sky magic eye so you can watch and change sky channels from the bedroom. This bedroom is accessed by retractable steps. The second bedroom has two single bunk beds. In the living area there is a fold down bed for a further two occasional overnight guests.
The small, but well designed galley style kitchen includes hob, microwave, oven, fridge, dishwasher and washer dryer for all the amenities of home.
The compact ground floor Shower Room, has a shower, WC and luxury sauna. This completes the accommodation.
Lined in pine, Wolf Lodge is well insulated and double glazed with heating in every room.
We have now fitted a fabulous 6-person outdoor Hot Tub on the new patio, so whatever the weather, day or night, you and your party can luxuriate in the warm water and perhaps sip a glass of Champagne with that special person under a starry sky. Undoubtedly the Hot Tub is a tremendous experience. Just settle in, soak up the warmth, and relax as aches and stress disappear. This brings enjoyment at any time of the day. Start with a morning “eye opener”. Enjoy a post-workout refresher. Re-connect with loved ones after a busy day. Or relax and unwind just before going to sleep, Robes and Slippers are provided.
Due to the design of the lodge and the main bedroom access, Wolf Lodge is not really recommended for heavily pregnant ladies, or people with limited mobility.
