Memories that will last a lifetime.

Our families had a magical time at Badengorm. The location is stunning and our grandchildren had freedom to explore and play by the burn and also space within the lodge to do their own thing. The games room is a bonus...the snooker table was well used by the adults. However as other reviewers have mentioned space is limited in the kitchen area and we found a blackened pan on arrival. We loved Badengorm but the sofas were not comfy!!! As a family of 10...everyone asked me to mention the seating. We only used them of an evening as there is so much to see and do in this superb setting...however...comfort is everything! Making more use of the utility room...perhaps a basin to wash more dishes would be helpful? We ran out of space in the kitchen area for preparation etc. Thankyou for sharing your amazing home.

Seventieth Birthday Celebration.

Location is idyllic, accommodation very comfortable. However, there are a few areas which need to be addressed to maintain the high standard of this accommodation. On arrival the kitchen floor around the sink area was not clean. One of the smaller pots had a burnt base which was black and had not been cleaned. Measuring bowl required cleaning before use. The large frying pan was bevelled on the base and not suitable for purpose. In general the kitchen felt pretty disorganised in terms of cooking utensils, knives, and occasional use dishes all stored in random drawers and cupboards. This could be improved. The freezer was heavily frosted and required defrosting. The curtain in the main bedroom downstairs had hooks which had come off the rail. The en-suite bathroom had a wicker basket for toilet rolls which needed a good clean. BBQ was full of ash and unburnt bark. Fire pit had there empty cider cans. The outside area at the back door felt unkept and unclean with a flip top bin which a mouse jumped out of. As well as this bin, there were other random boxes left at the back porch area. Empty tonic cans in the games room. The above issues are very minor intended for constructive feedback. They are not complaints. All in all we had an amazing stay but feel the above minor issues could easily be addressed to maintain this fantastic property. We would certainly recommend the Baddengorm Lodge and we hope that we have the opportunity to stay again.

We all had a wonderful holiday, enjoying the surroundings gardens, the views from inside, the comfortable living space, the well equipped games room, the fire pit in the evening and the wildlife, castles and great walks of the region. Many thanks for an idyllic holiday.
