About Baddengorm Lodge

Baddengorm Lodge is a magnificent lodge set within in a clearing in beautiful woodland in the Cairngorms National Park. Sleeps 8 in 5 bedrooms.

Baddengorm Lodge has a large living room with free-standing circular wood burner. The entire open-plan living/kitchen/dining space is flooded with natural light from the large windows. The master bedroom is on the ground floor and has a fabulous en-suite bathroom with shower and free-standing bath. Up to the first floor are more bedrooms all with incredible woodland views. Baddengorm Lodge is a truly unique property and although there is two steps to the entrance at the front of the property, there is a wheelchair friendly side door with ramp. Externally there is a large games room with snooker table, table tennis and table football. The lawned garden, with patio, garden furniture and firepit is set in 10-acre grounds with woodland.

Please note: The property has a private water supply from a borehole. There is an unfenced stream, 5 yards away from the house and an unfenced lake, 30 yards away.

The lodge is amazing. You drive through the gates, through the forest over a crest, and are met with a stunning view of the lodge and the sprawling gardens. The wrap-around decking lets you follow the sun (when it's there) and listen to the birds merrily chirping. Inside doesn't disappoint either. The conservatory TV room became a perfect hideaway for the older 'kids' (22 and 18), leaving the TV near the kitchen for the adults. The weather was warm enough that we didn't light the fire, but I bet it's stunning in the colder months. We walked the perimeter to check the garden was secure before letting our dogs roam, and what a walk it was. The grounds are extensive and fully fenced with a deer fence. Close enough to Aviemore for shopping and takeaway and a quick nip down the road to the Spar in Carrbridge that had essentials if you ran out. Also close to some spectacular walks. Will definitely be back

Fab family holiday

Another Great Stay

Another wonderful stay at Baddengorm. The spacious accommodation is great. The weather was lovely and we were entertained every morning by the Squirrels. To sit on the decking and absorb the serene setting was lovely. To round off the holiday we enjoyed meals prepared and delivered by the wonderful Speyside Kitchen.
