About Craggan Mill

Tucked away on the edge of the charming village of Grantown-on-Spey, Craggan Mill is a beautifully restored corn mill that offers the perfect blend of character, comfort, and luxury. Sleeping up to 16 guests across six spacious bedrooms, this self-catering lodge is ideal for large families or groups of friends looking to explore the stunning Cairngorms National Park. With a rich history, stylish interiors, and a host of incredible amenities, Craggan Mill promises a stay that’s as memorable as it is relaxing.

Inside, the open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area is the heart of the home – perfect for gathering together after a day of Highland adventures. The lodge features four king-size bedrooms and two family rooms, comfortably sleeping 16 across two levels. Thoughtfully designed, the interior includes a Japanese spa bath and sauna, a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings, and plenty of space for everyone to unwind. The modern kitchen is fully equipped, complete with an American-style fridge freezer, wine fridge, and everything you need for home-from-home comfort.

Step outside, and Craggan Mill truly shines. The enclosed garden is a haven for all ages from the hot tub and pizza oven to the kids' fairy trail and play area, there's something for everyone. Several seating and dining spots wrap around the lodge, making it easy to follow the sun or sneak off for a quiet coffee with mountain views. There's even a quirky stream walk and a restored original waterwheel that adds a touch of historic charm to your stay.

Craggan Mill is dog-friendly, with an enclosed garden and endless nearby trails for scenic walks. With thoughtful touches like a lockable bike shed, EV charging station, Sky TV, complimentary robes and slippers, and welcome pack, everything has been considered to ensure a seamless and special stay.

We've had an amazing time here at Craggan Mill for our family get together. The house is very well equipped with plenty of room for everyone. We have enjoyed the open plan living area, sauna, hot tub. BBQ and outdoor eating area. The children loved the play park and the den. Great we could bring our dog along too! There is so much to do in the area and right opposite the stunning Cairn Distillery too. We'll be back! Thank you! The Moore Family
