Reindeer House

Lovely comfortable, well equiped cottage. This really was a home from home. Cleaned to a high standard - perfect. We are a family of 4, including two boys (9 and 13). We had ample room to relax and enjoy down time when not out exploring the area. The beds are all really comfy with plenty of storage in the bedrooms too. Kitchen was really well equipped with everything you'd need. There is a draw full of walking books, leaflets and maps which came in really useful as well as books on the area and things to do. There is a cupboard full of games and some reading books too. All these little things made our stay even better. The hot tub topped it off and we made full use of this when we got back after days out. There is so much wildlife to see with squirrel and bird feeders surrounding the house, encoraging it all into the garden. We saw a red squirrel within 15 mins of being in the cottage and even saw a great spotted woodpecker using the bird feeders. We'd definitely return here if coming to the area again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Reindeer House. The location was perfect for accessing the amenities in the surrounding areas. The house itself was lovely. The views were magnificent and the garden was full of birds and red squirrels. The large and clean hot tub was a lovely way to end the day. The kids also enjoyed the wide selection of games and puzzles available. The road at the end of the garden didn’t bother us at all. We’d definitely book again. The view from this property towards Cairngorm is absolutely stunning and is what attracted me to booking it in the first place. It’s a modern, well equipped property with plenty of bird life and red squirrels in the garden. We stayed during an exceptionally cold spell in June and actually needed the heating on which kept the place warm and cosy. Lovely having the steam railway going past the bottom of the garden and having the hot tub to relax in after a long walk. Convenient to Nethybridge for a couple of shops and lovely cafe and only 8 mins drive to Grantown-On-Spey for a takeaway so ideally situated
