Revisiting & Looking Forward
Happy New Year from Great North Lodges!
We are super excited about the year ahead, however first let’s take a little look back at 2022 as this was a busy time for the Great North Lodges Team. We launched our new website and changed our booking system to make booking your stay with us even easier. We were also launching and opening up new properties across the Strath. These included;
Wester Curr Cottage, a beautifully appointed Cottage near Broomhill by Dulnain Bridge with outstanding views over the Cairngorms. This Cottage sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms and has an exciting secret in the garden – not just a hot tub but also a fabulous swim spa. This is all enclosed so no need to wait for a sunny days, you can take a dip anytime! Wester Curr Cottage is available to book on our website now.
Baddengorm Lodge, a magnificent Lodge set within ancient woodland within a small clearing on the outskirts of Carrbridge. Sleeping 10 in 5 bedrooms this is the ultimate escape lodge. As well as the beautiful lodge, there is a fabulous games room with snooker table, table tennis, table football, log burner and small bar area. Alongside the lawned area is a tranquil stream and over the footbridge you will find the purpose built firepit area. This is the perfect family gathering lodge.
2 Bynack House, this perfectly sized apartment in the centre of Aviemore is the ideal base for exploring Aviemore and surrounding areas. This apartment is so central that you can travel here without a car as train and bus services are only a short walk away. Sleeping 4 in 2 bedrooms this well-equipped apartment has everything you need for a break in Aviemore.
Station Cottage, this charming Cottage in Nethybridge is steeped in history and was once the ticket office and waiting room which was split in two, also being the station masters house of the old Abernethy Train Station. Many of the original features still remain including the three sided chimney which provided a double fireplace. Sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms with a convenient open plan living/dining space this is the perfect place for your next family holiday. A large enclosed garden means your four legged friend can feel at home too.
