Tucked away in a peaceful woodland glade, Beaver Creek Lodge is a traditional log cabin brimming with Highland charm. Your adventure begins the moment you cross the private wooden bridge to reach this tranquil hideaway.

The lodge’s most magical feature is its stream-side pergola, built directly above a mountain brook flowing down from Craigellachie Nature Reserve. Here you can dine al fresco or simply relax to the sound of running water — an unforgettable backdrop in every season.

After a day exploring Aviemore by foot, car or bike and the Cairngorms, unwind in the eight-person hot tub, sheltered beneath the eaves of the lodge, or step inside to the warmth of the crackling log stove. The open-plan living space is designed for togetherness.

For ultimate relaxation, the lodge features a luxurious bathroom suite with a Jacuzzi bath and large sauna — the perfect way to soothe tired legs after a hike, ski, or cycle.

Entertainment is taken care of with Sky TV and Sky Cinema in the lounge, plus Freeview in every bedroom. Games book and DVD’s are also provided.

Fantastic stay

We recently stayed here as a group of 8 to celebrate a friends 40th birthday. We cannot fault anything at all. The lodge was in a fantastic location. We were able to take a short walk into Aviemore which was great. The hot tub was lush! As we are all Mums it was great to relax and unwind. The Lodge had everything that we needed and more. Would highly recommend.

Very good but not great

Beaver Creek is a lovely lodge although does not justify >£600 per night. Although on the whole the lodge was clean, the rug in front of the fire was filthy. There was no hoover, carpet sweeper or brush available to enable us to keep the floors as spruce as we would like which was also disappointing. The outdoor space with bbq and hot tub was lovely and it's a short walk to centre of Aviemore... All in all in all, it's nice but not luxurious.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the outdoor space and location. Just to clarify, the rug in front of the fire is new, though we’ll certainly check it over. As detailed in the digital welcome pack, a dustpan and brush are located in the kitchen, and a hoover is in the twin bedroom cupboard. We're disappointed that any concerns weren’t raised with the housekeeper or Great North Lodges during your stay, as we’d have been happy to assist.

One of a kind

Absolute legendary place for city escape, especially if youre from aberdeenshire where theres not many trees and lots of monotonous granite. Behind the house is a big forest, a great walk. Theres not many places I want to revisit simply because theres other options to explore, but this one i do. Thanks

From the initial enquiry through to check out, our experience of Great North Lodges has been fantastic. Beaver Creek Lodge was home for us for a Family Reunion and 60th Birthday Celebration and it did not disappoint. The rooms are larger than they appear in the adverts, and the lodge is very well equipped, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Hot Tub, Sauna, Spa Bath and a Log Burner all helped the party relax, the BBQ and outdoors areas were fantastic. The design of the Lodge is wonderful. They really have thought of everything, including a very nice “welcome pack”. So, we head back home to Portugal with treasured memories with Beaver Creek Lodge at the heart of them.
