About Ellon Cottage

Nestled on the Dorback Estate in Nethybridge, Ellon Cottage is a warm and inviting two-bedroom hideaway, thoughtfully renovated to preserve its traditional charm. With pine flooring throughout the ground floor and tasteful décor blending the old and new, this compact cottage offers a truly unique and relaxing escape.

On entering the cottage, you'll find a welcoming boot room with underfloor heating, perfect for drying off after outdoor adventures.

Whether you're whipping up a hearty post-walk meal or crafting a special dinner, the kitchen offers both the tools and the atmosphere to make it memorable. The sitting room exudes a cosy feel with its wood-burning stove and plush seating, an ideal space to unwind after a day of exploring. Set in a small alcove within the living room, the dining table provides a delightful space to eat, chat, and unwind in the glow of the wood burner.

The property features a spacious ground floor bathroom, complete with a separate shower and a relaxing bathtub. Upstairs, you will find two comfortable bedrooms, perfect for a restful night’s sleep.

The cottage opens out onto a private lawned garden, bordered by hedges and featuring a spacious patio. Here you can soak in the wood-fired hot tub while taking in breathtaking views across the Dorback Estate to the distant Cairngorm Mountains, the perfect setting for al fresco dining or evening relaxation.

Sweet cottage in an idyllic rural spot overlooking mountains. Very clean and enjoyed the hot tub. Great place to base selves for Sking. Plenty of wood to make a fire for a cosy night in.
