A well-kept, comfortable property amongst beautiful countryside. I hope we can make a return visit.

We enjoyed our stay very much - a lovely house in a lovely location. The log fire was wonderful when coming back on a chilly evening. We also appreciated the hot tub, plus the lovely seating areas in the garden. When we needed the bathroom sink plug to be fixed it was dealt with very swiftly by friendly maintenance staff. Some small points: Some clear signage directing to the property would be helpful, and the access was a wee bit challenging for the member of our party with mobility issues. The ensuite would benefit from a heated towel rail, indeed any form of heating. A sharp knife in the kitchen would be useful. We didn’t know from the description if there was any means of making coffee, so brought our own cafetière. An excellent one is provided, so maybe you could add that to the property kitchen information.

Response from owner
We are delighted you enjoyed your stay at the cottage and thank you for your kind comments re the maintenance team which we will pass on. We will follow up on your feedback regarding access to the cottage and we have now listed the cafetiere in the guide. Much appreciated, all very helpful and helps us to improve things in time for the next guests.

A great break!

Really enjoyed our time at Suidhe lodge. The house is very well equipped with extremely comfy beds & the hot tub was an added bonus. It was a lovely place to return to after a busy day exploring the Cairngorms. We enjoyed the Suie bar next door and access to the cycle paths nearby. Easy cycle to the Boathouse for dinner. Landmark is a must visit for families - our young teenagers were entertained all day there. Hope to return to Suidhe lodge again!
