We like the architecture of the house, the privacy of the location and the good connection to trails

Its a very attractive house architecturally.
The dining and living area is very cosy. We lit the wood-burning stove and really enjoyed the warmth and atmosphere.
Theres a small utility room (+++) leading out to the sauna and the hot tub (+++). Its all very well laid out.
The kitchen is beautifully fitted out, but could be a bit better equipped for cooking.
The bathrooms are top-notch.
The bedrooms are also very nicely furnished, but the mattresses are hard and uncomfortable. There werent any extra blankets either, which we could have done with. We could have slept better.

A week at Salmon Run Lodge

We enjoyed our week stay at Salmon Run, its in a great quiet location and has some good facilities, especially the hot tub!

Carrbridge weekend stay

House was lovely, very clean, great location, and the hot tub & sauna were great! Added bonus was watching all the trains coming into the village station from the living room window - my 11 year old was in his element!
We are super pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay at Salmon Run Lodge and that the young station master was able to keep an eye to the trains, hopefully they were all running to schedule :) We hope to welcome you back again in the future.

Lovely spacious house, good heating system and wood burner with limitless fuel. We had a very relaxing week. Outstanding hot tub and sauna. Great value for money would highly recommend. Lesley & Willie
