Stables Cottage

The extension of the old Stables building works really well and particularly liked the living room on the first floor with its two balconies and felt like you were almost living amongst the trees, a lot of good natural light and views. Everything was clean and fresh and garden was ideal for our 2 springer spaniels to stretch their legs. Getting to the woods behind was only a short 100yds or so walk, didn't try the stile at the rear to the garden, maybe next time. We have been to Nethy Bridge many times over the last 20 or so years, this is a welcome addition, and makes a great spot to tour from. Highlights for us are Nethy Cafe and the butchers, Speyside Way (to Boat of Garten and from Granton on Spey), Loch an Eileen, Loch Garten/Mallachie, Loch Morlich, Chalemaine Gap, Barn at Rothie, Cairn Hotel. Could go on. No Ryvoan Pass walk this year due to the wildfires but speaking to RSPB worker, she said things were recovering well which is good news.

Stables Cottage is a beautifully appointed and comfortable home with everything you could ever need and more. It is in a wonderful, quiet and stunning spot nestled up against the forest yet accessible to the village itself. From the amazingly comfortable, sumptuous beds to the beautiful artwork on the walls, it did not disappoint. We will be back and would highly recommend this fantastic home. Thank you.

We’ve had a lovely stay at Stables cottage. We come up to Nethy bridge most years but the first time we have stayed here. It won’t be the last. A lovely accommodation with everything you need for a week’s holiday. Excellent location and everything perfect.
