A lovely house with great outside garden and balconies. Comfortable beds and bathrooms. But living room and kitchen are very tight for 6 adults, particularly if weather is poor. Kitchen well equipped but for too small for 6 adults to sit around.

A Wee Gem

This is our second time and we’re booked again in September. Bitter sweet as one of our dogs Tazmin won’t be with us. They like us luv Nethy, a place we have been frequenting for many years. The Stables suits us perfectly, location access to many walking paths. Close enough to civilisation but private enough to feel secluded. You truly feel you are part of the forrest. Beds re comfy, appliances fixtures and fittings excellent. Everything we want and need . See ya in September. James Maggie Takara and Tazmin

Great house in fabulous location

Really nice 'upside down house' with bedrooms on the ground floor and the living quarters upstairs which means the living room and it's balcony have great views of the forest where we saw red squirrels and lots of birds. You can access the Caledonian forest from the garden and via nearby footpaths. You are right in the woods with crested tits seeable. The house is modern and clean and is fully equipped. The mattresses are very comfortable and the showers are hot and powerful. I would definitely come again.

If you want to relax in surrounding nature, Stables Cottage is a great choice! With the Caledonian Forest as your garden backdrop, you are (almost) guaranteed to be visited by wildlife in the garden. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back one day.

We had a wonderful stay in Nethybridge. The Stables has been cleverly extended to a very high standard. Well equipped with 2 sunny decks and a super garden for a BBQ. We made good use of the local walking books and were spoilt in having the Speyside Way on our doorstep. A great addition the GNL portfolio.
