About Station Cottage

This detached cottage was built circa 1850 and its recent renovation has ensured that much of its original character has been retained with the original timber lined walls and granite fireplace. Station cottage has an open plan living room with a modern kitchen and has been tastefully decorated. The focal point is the feature stone wall which divides the living areas and houses the wood burning stove.

There are three bedrooms consisting of two double bedrooms and bunk room with two single beds.

Two decked areas lie to the front with a BBQ, seating area and large enclosed front garden.

Beautiful well equipped property in an idyllic location. Weather was so good that we sat on the decking every evening just relaxing in a quiet area whilst the dog layed on the front lawn watching all the birds going about their business. Many walks straight from the door, plenty of information on them and others in the cottage. The only niggle is that the internal door could do with some sort of flyscreen/deterrent to stop the wasps/bees coming in as we didn't want to keep the doors closed in such warm weather...but it didn't spoil our time there and we would thoroughly recommend this property for your vacation the area

Easter Holiday at Station Cottage

Station Cottage was the perfect location and space for our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 kids and dog). The cottage is beautifully decorated and laid out, super clean, with all the home comforts for a relaxing stay. The main bedroom with ensuite shower room and doors onto the large garden was so relaxing, and the kids loved their room with 2 single beds and bunk beds. Location is great, right next to the Speyside way and a stones through from the local farm shop and cafe. Nethy Bridge is the ideal location for accessing a range of activities, loads of forest walks, beaches a drive to the north, Aviemore and the Cairngorms. We hope to be back at Station Cottage another day. Thank you so much :)

A lovely cottage with everything needed for a perfect stay in the Cairngorms. The enclosed garden was a really good size for the dogs and the location was great with plenty of walks nearby. This was our second time booking through Great North Lodges having previously stayed in Boat of Garten. I'd highly recommend this cottage when staying in Nethy Bridge, a beautiful area.

“We had a wonderful stay at Station Cottage. The property setting is peaceful and beautiful. We loved the size of the enclosed garden. The property was a lot more spacious than we expected and had a cosy, homely feel. It was very well equipped and had everything you could think of needing as a home away from home. It spotlessly clean when we arrived and had a welcoming feel. We loved the master bedroom and en suite and also enjoyed lighting the fire in the evening. We used the property as a base to explore the beautiful local area. There are some wonderful walks and bike rides from just outside the front door which we thoroughly enjoyed. The local shop is well stocked and we used the supermarket in Aviemore. All in all we had a fantastic stay and can't wait to book again. Many thanks!”
